
Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science in Nutrition degree at Bastyr University.
After completing her degree at Bastyr, she then went on to complete a dietetic internship, approved by the
American Dietetic Association, at the University of Washington.
Clinical training sites included University of Washington Medical
Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. She is currently working as
an oncology dietitian at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and has been in
private practice since January 2006.
Melissa strongly believes our health is connected to the health of our environment. Therefore, she practices and encourages sustainable living.
